I had never heard of Red Rock before (having lived on the East Coast as I have for the past all of my life), but now it’s come up multiple times just this year, so clearly I need to hop on over to Red Rock on my own North American tour! It’s such a gift! And a gift that I was at Andrea’s final performance at the Paramount in 2024. We’re sooo fortunate to have Red Rocks in our backyard. Amazing shows every year… I’ve been seeing Brandi Carlile there annually for almost a decade (minus Covid). Definitely come experience it when you head west!!!
This resonates so deeply. I recently returned from a trip, a retreat at Omega and connecting with new friends in NYC — a few weeks in the company of people who made me full and hungry at the same time. In Antony and Cleopatra, Shakespeare had a phrase for it: people who "make you hungry where most they satisfy." I think that's what you're describing here.
