Happy Friday! This Mondayβs Substack post was about the spiritual ick, and how my relationship to my own spirituality has been consistently shifting over the entire decade of my forties. And this piece of writing seemed to resonate with so many of you! I got far more responses to this post in my inbox and otherwise than anything Iβve posted in the past 18 months Iβve been writing here on Substack. When sacred gets a hashtag, it can reek of spiritual bypassing, appropriation, ablism, and capitalism. π€’ So, this weekend, letβs all dive into our own explorations of our authentic, intrinsic spirituality with these creative, reflective, and not cringey prompts:
rooting deeper into your inherent divinity
Find about 30 minutes when youβll be able to be (relatively) uninterrupted. Open your journal (paper or digital - your call). Read through the following questions, one at a time. After reading each prompt, begin writing your answer without any sort of plan about what youβll write. See what comes. No one else has to read this β itβs for YOU.
