In October, I shared a post about the 8 spokes on the wheel of the year, and we are currently in the window for one of them. Imbolc (pronounced IM-bolluk with a guttural ‘k’ sound) is a Gaelic seasonal festival celebrated between January 31 and February 2 – halfway between the winter solstice and spring equinox. In Christianity, it’s called Candlemas and marks the return of light, a symbol of protection and prosperity. It’s also commonly known as Groundhog’s Day. This is a time for initiation and preparation. Below are some fun ways to utilize this energy this weekend:
