Happy Friday! It’s me, again! I realize that as a paid subscriber to prism, you’ve heard from me far more than usual this week, as Monday is the day I always post for free + paid subscribers, Tuesday was our live event + recap, yesterday was the monthly curation post that comes out on the 1st of each month, and today is the day you get your weekend prompt for paid subscribers. Whew! They usually don’t all fall on the same week, so rest assured, I won’t regularly be bombarding your inbox to this degree. In October, I shared a post about the 8 spokes on the wheel of the year, and we are currently in the window for one of them. Imbolc (pronounced IM-bolluk with a guttural ‘k’ sound) is a Gaelic seasonal festival celebrated between January 31 and February 2 – halfway between the winter solstice and spring equinox. In Christianity, it’s called Candlemas and marks the return of light, a symbol of protection and prosperity. It’s also commonly known as Groundhog’s Day. This is a time for initiation and preparation. Below are some fun ways to utilize this energy this weekend:
